Developing a Business Plan

Target Audience

Anyone with an idea who is interested in turning it into a new venture or social enterprise. Alternatively an existing community, voluntary or charity organisation may need to develop a business plan as part of the development of a new service or a funding application.

Outline

This workshop is designed to make business planning accessible to everyone.

You don’t have to be a hotshot, high-flying entrepreneur to bring a good idea to life. Every day, regular people in our communities are recognising that there is a need and an opportunity for new supports and services, and they are deciding to do something about it.

You need passion. You need determination. And you need a plan. A business plan is the first step in focusing your ideas, and articulating your vision clearly to people and organisations who can help you along the way.
