Target Audience

Video builds trust online and this session will benefit any nonprofit trying to find the time to create regular video content with limited time and resources. So if you work in communications for a nonprofit then check out the best way for you to start doing some video right now.

Outline

This half day session aims to bring participants through a process to create a sustainable video strategy for a non-profit. Participants will learn skills to create video content using just their smartphone and how to upload the video without the need to edit the videos. The session will also include a demonstration of an editing App and carrying out some simple editing tasks like trimming and adding titles. Everyone leaving should have confidence to know what they want to film for their non-profit and how to film it.

Methodology

Delivered in person at Carmichael House, Dublin 7. Participants will be required to follow all Health & Safety COVID procedures in place at the time of the training.

Thady Kavanagh

Thady Kavanagh has worked across many video productions for the last 15 years. In the past five years he has focused on working with nonprofits and charities to help bring the stories behind their work online. He has worked with groups like Jigsaw, Enable Ireland and Rehab to create impactful online video content. He has recently developed a selection of training courses to show nonprofits how they can create simple, time effective video content to help get them started creating video.
