Carmichael has scheduled another free ‘Developing an Effective Annual Report’ workshop, on 18th May 2021, 2pm to 4pm.
The aim of this practical online workshop is to understand the preparation of the Annual Report from the perspective of the Board Members, Directors, Trustees.
Each workshop covers the basics of what is required in an annual report and then focuses on how to use the annual report as a way of showing the public, your members and funders how good your organisation is. The session will involve presentations and working in groups. These workshops are aimed at smaller charities (annual income of less than €250,000), particularly, at charities with income of less than €50,000.
The workshop is free thanks to the support of Community Foundation Ireland.
This online workshop will be delivered via Zoom.
The trainer is Martin Corboy. Martin Corboy is a lecturer and trainer with over 20-years experience. He has taught in UCD, DCU, Griffith College Dublin Accountancy School and City Colleges Dublin. His areas of specialism are Corporate Governance, Ethics, Performance Management, Company Law, Risk Management and Financial Management Accounting. He teaches accountancy students who are pursuing professional qualifications. He is a board member of a state body and a charity.
