Carmichael are recruiting a Community Employment (CE) Scheme Supervisor (from 1 July 2019) to lead and supervise our CE project. The key responsibility of the CE Supervisor will be to ensure the effective and efficient direction of the human, financial and material resources of the CE Programme. Thereby, ensuring that the programme is being run in accordance with all the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection (DEASP) guidelines and is of maximum benefit to both participants and Carmichael. The Supervisor’s main remit is the ongoing recruitment, provision of training and overall responsibility for the Project and reporting to the CE Project Management Committee.
Carmichael Centre for Voluntary Groups, established in 1990, is a major support and service provider to Irish nonprofits and is located in North Brunswick Street, Dublin 7. Our long standing CE scheme is a valuable part of the services we provide to our 45 resident charities and to local nonprofits. We are looking to recruit an energetic and performance driven person to manage this important programme in the dynamic and varied environment of Carmichael.
– Must have 3 years previous direct supervisory experience in Administration, Project management and/or Training or other relevant position.
– Must have attained a Major Award at 3rd Level (QQI level 6 or higher) in Business/Financial, Administration, Training, Project Management, Community Development or a related discipline.
