Outline
The aim of this session is to understand the preparation of the Annual Report from the perspective of the Board Members, Directors, Trustees and staff.
This course covers the basics of what a good Annual Report should include and focuses on how to use the annual report as a way of showing the public, your members and funders how good your organisation is. This course is aimed at smaller organisations, particularly those with income of less than €100,000.

Senan Turnbull
Senan Turnbull is a governance and organisational development specialist working across the Community, Voluntary and Charity sectors. He has a lifetime of experience as a volunteer and as a board/committee member of organisations from local to national level.
Over the past twelve years he has undertaken training, mentoring, facilitation and advisory roles with a wide range of not-for-profit organisations on both a consultancy and pro-bono basis. He specialises in advising on constitutions and associated policies and procedural documents to guide the operations and structures of not-for-profits. He delivers training on best practice in being compliant with the Governance Codes from the Charities Regulator and Sport Ireland and he assists organisations to achieve and retain compliance.
Senan has been an assessor on the Carmichael Good Governance Awards since their inception ten years ago and for the past five years he has been the mentor/advisor to over twenty-five small charities on the National Training Funds Annual Report programme offered by Carmichael.

- What a Report should include
- Plan how to plan for and produce an effective annual report for your organisation
- Decide on type of presentation
