Instructor

Paula Fagan

Paula Fagan is a purpose-driven leader with over 25 years’ experience working in the not-for-profit sector in Ireland, including roles as Chief Executive, Chief Finance Officer, and Board Director. She has a proven track record of strategic leadership, financial stewardship, and transformational impact across diverse mission-driven organisations.

For over a decade as CEO, Paula led the evolution of LGBT Ireland from a frontline service provider to becoming the leading LGBTQI+ advocacy charity in Ireland—delivering sustainable growth, pioneering services, developing national training programmes and forging influential cross-sector partnerships.

As a qualified accountant Paula has also worked in CFO roles, and acted as Treasurer, for several national non-profit organisations with budgets ranging from between €250,000 to over €2 million.

Combining her background in accountancy with qualifications in psychology, and psychotherapy, Paula brings a unique mix of financial acumen and psychological training to the areas of organisational development, service delivery and innovation, staff wellbeing, and building resilient values-led teams.

The training will:

• Strengthen understanding of financial governance responsibilities
