Outline
The aim of this session is to understand the preparation of the Annual Report from the perspective of the Board Members, Directors, Trustees and staff.
This course covers the basics of what a good Annual Report should include and focuses on how to use the annual report as a way of showing the public, your members and funders how good your organisation is. This course is aimed at smaller organisations, particularly those with income of less than €100,000.

Instructor

Senan Turnbull
Senan is a retired public servant whose career across many Departments and State Bodies saw him work with the community and voluntary sector in particular. He has had a continuous voluntary involvement at local and national levels throughout his life. He is involved with a wide range of charities and not-for-profit organisations including The Governance Code, Irish Hospice Foundation, Cycling Ireland, Ballymun United FC, and the Croke Park Community Fund.
He is a member of the Working Group of the Governance Code and was a board member of the Charities Regulatory Authority until October 2017 where he chaired the Governance and Regulatory Committee. He currently chairs the Department of Public Expenditure sponsored Consultative Panel on the Governance of Charity Organisations and is a Board member of Transport Infrastructure Ireland and its Audit and Risk Committee.

- What a Report should include
- Plan how to plan for and produce an effective annual report for your organisation
- Decide on type of presentation
