Mental Health, Emotional Agility and Resilience / Leadership from the Inside Out

Target Audience

For small and medium sized non-profit organisations, community, voluntary, charitable & social enterprise registered in the Republic of Ireland. Designed for Not-for-Profit Professionals, Leaders and Social Enterprise Changemakers.

Programme Aim: 

To equip participants with the mindset, emotional skillset and grounded resilience to lead in a changing and complex environment, strengthening inner capacity to sustain outer impact.

Programme Overview: 

Session 1:  Building Mental Strength – Embracing your mind so it works with you and not against you

Session 2:  Emotion in Motion – Feel what you feel without getting stuck there

Session 3:  Resilience from the Inside Out – Grow stronger through challenge with greater ease and less stress.

Session 4:  Learning to Leadership – Real life empowerment as a leader whilst being who you are

 

The schedule for this programme is:

  •  Wednesday 16th September 10am - 12.30pm
  •  Wednesday 23rd September 10am - 12.30pm
  •  Wednesday 30th September 10am - 12.30pm
  •  Wednesday 7th October 10am - 12.30pm

Delivery Method: 

This initiative is delivered online over 4 sessions each 2.5 hours duration. The method of delivery includes theoretical input, reflective exercises, group dialogue and practical tools. The final session culminates in key learning and action planning for real life application.

The funding for the provision of these services comes from the National Training Fund administered by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research Innovation and Science. The €75 nominal charge is by way of contribution. Participants will be asked to provide further information regarding Age Range, Gender, Employment Status, Educational Background, Role in Organisation, Organisation Activity & Size post registration.

Instructor

Fiona Callan

Fiona Callan is an experienced Coach, Mentor, and Trainer with over 30 years’ experience across social, economic, and community development and the public and not-for-profit sectors where she integrated strategy, process and innovation with leadership growth.

Fiona’s work centred on cultivating systemic transformation—strengthening the capacity of individuals, communities, organisations, and cross-sector partnerships to realise their collective potential whilst leading themselves and their communities through complexity, growth and change.

Her professional journey brought her passion for people to the fore along with her skills inspiring others to nurture their energy, strengths, and uniqueness. She believes that self-leadership is the foundation for impactful leadership of others and living life with less stress and greater ease - rooted in authenticity, conscious choice, and intentional action. Her work invites people to connect with themselves, discover their strengths and clarify their leadership identity and journey.

Fiona has consolidated her natural skills with academic qualification: A Master Diploma in Leadership Coaching and Mentoring, a Practitioner Diploma in Coaching with Neuroscience, a Certificate in Coaching Practice and Ethics and an MA in Sociology (Work, Labour Markets and Employment), along with similar qualifications in Social Studies, Training and Development, Business Studies, and Rural and Community Development.

By the end of the Programme Participants will:

  • Experience greater personal alignment between who you are and how you lead
  • Have a personal toolkit to support your ongoing resilience
