Prepare your club or organisation for the upcoming Community Sports Facilities Fund (formerly Sports Capital Fund). Led by experienced grant writer Joanne Ryan, we will navigate project preparation, reviewing your eligibility, assessment and scoring information for best approaches, identifying documents needed, budgeting and language for your applications.

Joanne Ryan
Joanne is a fundraising and funding professional with 16 years of experience in the sector, working with organisations like Focus Ireland, Irish Wheelchair Association and Jigsaw. Since May 2023, she has been working as a funding consultant, working with clients in the charity, sport, arts and education areas, supporting them to access over €2.7M in funding for their projects.
Outcomes
Participants will learn to have a better understanding of:
- How to prepare a case for support, budgeting and supporting documents
- What kind of language to use for grant applications (including opportunities and pitfalls of AI)
